Chinese Temple Amsterdam

The Fo Guang Shan He Hua Temple on Amsterdam’s Zeedijk was originally covered with imported Taiwanese roof tiles.

However, these twice proved unsuitable for the Dutch climate. Commissioned by the Temple Board of Trustees, we redeveloped these Chine roof tiles under the direction and execution of Konrad Roof Technology.

Based on the Great Romanesque roof tile, all special roof tiles are copied yellow glazed as well as the special Chinese roof figures – Prayer Statues.
